She was featured in a regular role as Nicole in the short-lived Fox series South Central, portraying Larenz Tate's girlfriend, and also had a guest role in Thea.
She also had a minor role in John Singleton's Poetic Justice, with Janet Jackson, playing the role of Lucky's (played by Tupac Shakur) cousin in Oakland.
Maia Campbell got a lot more than she ordered during a recent trip to Waffle House.
The former “In the House” star, who once acted alongside LL Cool J, was arrested in Riverdale, Georgia, this past weekend for disorderly conduct at the chain restaurant, reports TMZ.
Campbell, 38, who has a history of criminal offenses, was also arrested in January when she lost her cool in a Burger King restaurant in Atlanta.
In the latter incident, she allegedly cursed out a family, accused a child of stealing her wallet and called the officer tasked with arresting her a “f—king fa—ot.” Authorities tell the site she denies using filthy language and only speaks the “King’s language.” The Huffington Post reports that Campbell, who also suffers from bipolar disorder, was once arrested in 2010 for theft and was sent to a mental health facility.
Insiders tell the site she was allegedly drunk and ended up in handcuffs after refusing to leave the restaurant.
