DHCP is setup to always update dynamic A and PTR records in DNS servers.I have tried refereshing DHCP credentials for Domain Admin in advanced tab but no luck.
For updated detailed IT pro information about DHCP and DNS, see the Windows Server 2008 documentation on the Microsoft Tech Net Web site.
I am having troubles with DNS getting updated when a new DHCP lease is handed out.
I have set up DHCP zone settings set to "Enable DNS dynamic updates", "Always dynamically update DNS A and PTR records", "Discard A and PTR records when lease is deleted" and "Dynaically update DNS A and PTR records for DHCP clients that do not request updates". I also did create a DHCP user, which is part of "Domain Users" group.
This user's credentials are used in the Advanced - Credentials setting of the DHCP zone.
You can approach this by manually forcing the clients to check in.
